Problem toggling to OFF for apps in iOS26 via Settings, Backup Details

Using iCloud+, Backup to eliminate Apps that don’t need to be part of my iCloud+ backup on the cloud.

1. Settings, click on your Account Name
2. Choose iCloud
3. iCloud Backup
4. All Device Backups, chose iPhone 15 “this phone”
5. Wait while it loads the details of what Apps are being backup up….
6. Toggle off ie. Notabli
7. Pop up dialog “Do you want to turn off Notabli backups and delete the backup data from iCloud?
8. Select either “Cancel” or “Turn Off”.
9. Chose “Turn off“.
10. Returns to choice to Toggling off (again) and app is still enabled for backup.
11. Do the steps 6-9 and result second time is the app is toggled off.

It seems to be a timing issue. If I count 1, 2) between the toggling and the dismissing of the pop up with Turn Off chosen, it will re-enable the green toggle On. I still experienced this issue even when I slowed down but the occurrence was much less. Sometimes the pop up dialog would return. I respond again and then the app is disabled from the backup. Ultimately you get there but I was having to try toggling off apps 2x each until I figured out if I slowed down it may work better.
