music library file changes after Tahoe update

I updated my Mac Mini for the Tahoe OS and the music library file increased by 48mb after the update. When I look at the package contents of the file, a new folder called "com.apple.MusicKit" has appeared and this contains 3 document files: 1) MusicCatalogData.db, 2) MusicCatalogData.db-shm and 3) MusicCatalogData.db-wal. The first of these files is 47mb so explains the increase in the music library file size. A search of the internet indicated MusicCatalog is an Apple? app for developers but I can't find anything about why these files were added to my music library file or what they do. Does anyone in the community know anything about this?
