When wired (through Ethernet cable) to my mesh router my Apple TV hub loses connection with HomeKit devices.

When wired (through Ethernet cable) to my mesh router, my Apple TV hub loses connection with HomeKit devices. When the Apple TV hub is on wifi and not wired into my mesh router everything works fine.

My network has three different sub networks (eg one for Guest, a dedicated 2.4G for smart devices and a dedicated sub network for 5G devices). I suspect my sub networks are the issue- I'm unsure how to solve this problem as I want the three subnets to remain.

  • All devices and the Apple TV are updated.
  • I have two routers- the primary and mesh. Both are working fine, are compatible and are configured correctly.

I suspect others have encountered this issue- please advise how to solve without removing my subnets.

Thanks
