I recently updated my 2019 macbook pro 16inch to mac os 26.0 and I am not sure but I think I am experiencing some bugs like the mac doesn't wake up from sleep as the clamshell is opened I have to use the power button to turn it on and then the touch id doesn't work and same goes for the touch bar as well I tried resetting the smc does the job for some hours then goes back to the same thing , talked with apple support they weren't able to help me fix the issue , is any1 having a similar issue and is there any fix for this or should I just wait for the new patch ?
There are some reported issue with Clamshell and the new macOS 26
To be proactive you can file a bug report / submit your Apple Feedback here: Product Feedback - Apple
On an Intel Mac for Touchbar issue it is recommended to do both—
—resetting the System Management Controller Reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support
—resetting NVRAM/PRAM Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support
(get at least two-three rounds of the chimes when holding the NVRAM Reset)
Even though SMC controls the touchbar, the T2 Controller is responsible for TouchID as well, so some USB is in play, this would be NVRAM in part, notice:
USB Device: Apple T2 Bus
USB Device: Touch Bar Backlight
USB Device: Touch Bar Display
USB Device: Apple T2 Controller

—or wait for a point update and see if the issue is addressed
—you can try DFU Rive if not Restore using the Configurator ( requires a second machine)
