Reporting a scam app impersonating Meta on the App Store

How can I report an app that pretends to be META in order to carry out a scam? This app is on the Apple App Store.

They use all Meta Apps Names.

I received an email from a company that was only available through WhatsApp, and it was used to run a scam. The goal was to trick me into logging in with my Meta credentials.

This is not an official Meta app. In the Apple App Store, they don’t use Meta’s name directly, but they copy the entire design. In other places (like the email), they do present themselves as Meta.

The email address, which exists only on WhatsApp and was created recently, helped confirm that this was indeed a scam attempt, since it would not make sense for Meta to communicate that way.

You can report any app as a scam or fraudulent and choosing that selection by going to reportaproblem.apple.com.

I don't see anything in the App Store where it claims to be an official Meta app. If you are getting phishing attempts on WhatsApp, then you would want to report that to Meta. You would think WhatsApp would want to know about any email that claims to be from their own company.
