Connecting to HomePod after wifi router change

I recently upgraded my home wifi routers to a LInksys 6E mesh system. All my Apple products connected well except Homepod. it keeps saying " I am having trouble connecting to the internet" It is not being recognized in my phone -16pro. Worked fine before the router switch (also a LInksys mesh router). Is there a way to reset it or some other way to connect? Any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks

Assuming you’re using the same network name and password on the new router there shouldn't be an issue. First try restarting your HomePod. If that doesn’t work then try resetting it.
