DND widget won't go away

So, I just got a new toy. It's one I don't particularly enjoy.

I made a little a little collage to explain:

Do you know how to fix it? How do I make my do— How do I make the DND widget thingy go away without disabling DND or Focus…whatever.

I have a feeling I could just kill Notification Center from the CLI. I used to do that; it's so annoying/useless since Mojave-ish, as system notifications, updates, can't be blocked; but I still put up with it because of Mail alerts.

This is Ventura, BTW, the one with the yellow flower (…I think it's a flower, not sure) macOS 13.7.5. Please don't tell me to update, that's about as high as I will go. Every new update macOS gets tackier, slower, dumber, and more useless, specially without an iCloud account.

Have you tried rebooting the computer? macOS does need to be restarted once in a while.

Plus, the fix to the issue could be hidden within one of those update patches. Generally as long as an update patch is not introducing new features, an update patch should be relatively safe to install since they do fix bugs & patch security vulnerabilities.
