iOS 26 update to iPad Pro wiped wallpaper setup and replaced w/random photos of my dead cat!

My iPad Pro (11/4th) Wallpaper and Home Screen was replaced w/random photos of my dead cat!

I would appreciate understanding why Apple thinks it’s ok to wipe our Wallpaper / Home Screen setup and replace with 6-yr old random photos? I opened my iPad this morning to get blasted with huge photos of my late cat, Tess instead of my carefully curated wallpaper and Home Screen setup.

Did this happen on other iPads or apple products w/this update?
