Delete Safari URL suggestion in Tahoe

When typing a URL in Safari, you could highlight a suggestion and click an X to delete that suggestion. Since updating to Tahoe, there's no X, and I can't find any keyboard commands to delete the suggestion.

For example, before Tahoe, if I typed "ny" Safari would suggest "nytimes.com" and "nytimes.com/crosswords". I wanted crosswords to be the top autocomplete, not the home page, so I would X "nytimes.com", and then the crosswords page would be autocompleted every time I started typing "ny". It was so helpful for quickly getting to webpages I frequent.

In Tahoe, there doesn't appear to be any way to do this. Is there some way to get it back?

EDIT: I also have the crosswords page as a bookmark. It would be nice if the bookmarks ranked higher in the autocomplete suggestions.
