Where has the status bar in Apple Music on Mac gone?

In the past, the status bar was below the playlist. in MacOS 26 (Tahoe) this place has been taken by the control bar. There still is an option to turn off or on the status bar, but there doesn't seem to change anything when I toggle this on or off. So where has the status bar gone? (I use this feature a lot, so I really miss it).
