I don’t like the tiny space bar on the virtual keyboard in ios26 on my iPad. The space bar is flanked by two keys to toggle from symbol keyboard to alpha keyboard. They’re too easy to hit when typing.
is there a way to reconfigure the keyboard so that thee is a longer space bar and only a single toggle key from numeric to alpha?

The layout of the iPad's on-screen system keyboard is principally determined by your keyboard language settings. The keyboard layout is otherwise not user-configurable.

This spacebar size makes no sense. Switching to Android for my next device.
