Safari passwords missing after iPad Pro 11 update to iOS 26

My iPad which was working fine filling in passwords and log-in ID's before the upgrade no longer has a password or keychain app and when trying to sign on to websites I go to all the time no longer works.

Instead I get an error message that says to obtain passwords and log in information from Chrome or Edge. However I don't use either of those. I have literally thousands of passwords in Keychain and sync'd with iCloud. It would take months of resting password all over the place and we all know how complex and time wasting that has become these days.

I don't want to use some third party browser to sign into sites I normally use just fine in Safari. Also of note, my Mac Studio desktop works just fine as does my iPhone running 26. The problem only exists on my iPad Pro 11.
