AirPod Pro 3 ear to ear sound?

I have asked this in the past but wondered if the Air Pod Pro 3 had this feature. Being deaf in one ear, using the air pods as a hearing aid, I want the sound from one air pod to be transferred to the other so I hear sound from both sides. Can air pod 3 do this?

I appreciate your comment, Grant -"But I think the Author was asking if they could wear an AirPods3 -- as a microphone -- in the deaf ear, and get sounds from both sides mixed in their good ear."

Based on my extensive experience with my father who was totally deaf in one ear and very hard of hearing in the other, I've found that a microphone will not work in an ear that is totally deaf. If the deaf ear has some hearing, this theory may work. But even Apple says that the AirPods may act as hearing aids for moderate hearing loss. And Apple does not mention transferring the sound from one AirPod to another. Again, I wish I had better news.

Maybe someone in the Accessibility forum will comment on their own experience. It may be helpful to ask the question in the AirPod forum as well.

Sedumroof - I'm sure you may realize this already, but the two best resources my Dad had were:

  1. His audiologist, and
  2. Our local library - They had regular meetings for folks with hearing loss issues. They met to discuss tips and tricks that helped them stay on top of the latest technology. And also tips and support for dealing with hearing loss in general.

Good luck.

Thank you for your comments. To clarify, I do not want to hear in my deaf ear but wearing an AirPod in each ear, I want the external sound on my deaf side to be transferred and combined with the sound on my hearing side and then into my good ear which has excellent hearing. All the technology is there, it’s just the configuration to do this that will be needed. Was hoping Apple might support this. I have requested it twice as a product feature. Thank you for taking the time to reply.
