If the disk problem cause the failure of re-installing of macOS

My laptop (serial FV******V29) was bought in 2018, I found I can't download and update many APPs because the version of my laptop MacOS is low. So I tried to update the version of MacOS using the built-in updating function, however, the update failed, and then I can't turn on the computer again.

Then, I almost tried all the way to re-install the MacOS, include make the boot system disk under the guide of technical support, but all the tries failed.

I found several years before, the apple company call-backed the exactly version of my laptop because the disk problem. If the failure of restalling of my laptop MacOS was caused by the disk problem.

My laptop is like a big brick now, could somebody could help me solve the problem?
