Experiencing issues with iOS 26 compared to iOS 18.6.2

Schedule an appointment with Apple, that is obviously not normal.

If you have a computer yourself, you can try restoring the iOS first if you want. With the millions of devices out there, if the update was bricking phones, it would be the top story of every news outlet and that is not the case. Get your device checked and report back what Apple finds out.

No, I have no problems with iOS 26, and I have been using it for 3 months.

You need to update to 18.7 at least, which resolves a number of vulnerabilities.

All is well here. Of course, with every update there will be some that do not like change, but that has always been the case. I agree with Lawrence Finch, that if you do not want to update to iOS26, you should at least update to iOS 18.7.

My iPhone is now essentially a Paper Weight. This, the third day, more Apps won't load, lock up, freeze, etc. Progressively less & less function. I have done all the 'copy, paste' Expert Suggestions...they don't work for this buggy 26.0 release.

I'm unable to use the phone function. Should there be an emergency, I'd have to locate a person with a working phone. Not acceptable !

Apple really messed this rollout up to the hilt. Extensive testing across dozens of iPhones owners obviously wasn't important in their, 'proof of function' testing.
