Activation Lock issue after forgetting password on iPhone 11

Hello I am very very upset I bought a iPhone 11 a few months ago I’m not sure how but I ended up getting locked out of the device after only one week of being able to use it I had forgotten my password well now I’m pretty sure I knew it but for some odd reason it did not work all attempts to unlock did not work the store I bought it from will not return it. I know the account on the phone is mine but I also forgot the last bit of the email associated I’m sure I wrote it down but it got missed placed after having a useless phone for months I decided to try and unlock with apple I submitted a activation lock request I provided all the documents that are required including my bill of sale I was able to get the place I bought it from to send me a new invoice as my receipt was worn just like what they say to do and after several attempts they deny the request and say ( please provide all documents including bill of sale) well this is so frustrating I have sent what they are asking me I even sent my worn receipt you can still make out most of the imei on it but the invoice is 100% pdf file sent from the place I bought it. Why are they giving me a hard time and how can I either report this to either higher up or a 3rd party like better business bureau etc??? If they will not unlock it then they can pay me every penny I paid for it as on the invoice I have sent them numerous times This has got me so upset if they dont unlock it I will return my iPhone 16 that I just bought I will return it and go back to android I am on my second iPhone 16 in just 3 weeks btw reason being it would flip flop from the device I set up to a completely unrecognizable device that seemed to be someone else’s and 2 different iCloud data syncs that I noticed when I printed out my data I became 2 completely different back ups of someone who apparently spoke Chinese haha I was accused of lying by an Apple Store employee and kicked out until I contacted support and they saw what I was experiencing when they screen shared and I took about 30 screen shots to prove what was going on with my phone I cant even use the complete device as I have to turn off almost all my data and not able to use a iCloud account as I noticed the same thing started to happen a week after getting this new phone. Any suggestions please let me know or a way to get it direct contact with the activation lock department I called support but they were useless. Either way I will unlock the iPhone 11 either proper or I will have to buy one of those scetchy lock removal apps. If you know a free app or software that actually works in an iphone11 please let me know.

Apple discontinued the iPhone 11 some time ago, so it sounds like you purchased a used iPhone 11.

Although Apple has a way to make Activation Lock support requests, my impression is that they will only consider removing Activation Lock if you have proof of original purchase that is satisfactory to them. You apparently do not have such proof.

Apple has the fina word on whether to accept Activation Lock support requests. As I indicated above, a receipt for second-hand sale of a used iPhone is not likely to be acceptable to them. Anyone can make up receipts like that – so they don't prove much, and if Apple accepted them, thieves would be sending in made-up receipts all the time.

Threats will not get Apple to bypass their security requirements for the anti-theft mechanism Activation Lock. Go ahead and switch to Android if you feel that you must. Activation Lock is a very valuable feature of the iPhone, as far as many iPhone users are concerned, and Apple has no reason to compromise it just because somebody who purchased a second-hand phone is upset that a second-hand receipt will not be accepted.

As for your proclamation of intent to install "scetchy [sic] lock removal apps", "Activation Lock is a Theft Deterrent System … One even the FBI could not bypass."

Waste your money on "apps" and "services" to bypass Activation Lock. In the end, you will only have enriched the sellers of those "apps" and "services", while the phone will remain Activation Locked.

Refer to How to remove Activation Lock - Apple Support for the various ways to remove an Activation Lock. If you have the necessary information you can do this yourself, otherwise Apple can completely reset a device if a person can provide sufficient evidence of valid ownership. Check the requirements and steps at: Activation Lock support request - https://al-support.apple.com/#/additional-support Apple says you need to have "proof of purchase documentation” and “proof of ownership documentation”, but does not detail what currently constitutes proof other than it “must include the product serial number, IMEI or MEID.” Apple may typically absolutely require the original receipt* issued by Apple or an Apple Authorized Reseller. If Apple resets the device this will give you access to the device but won't restore access to the account used to lock it. There is nothing that can be done to expedite an Activation Lock request.

*Apple recommends you "Keep your receipt after you buy an Apple device" --> Keep your receipt after you buy an Apple device - Apple Support

If you cannot get the device unlocked then read this section from the very bottom of Apple Trade In - Apple :

"Does Apple offer recycling?

Yes. Apple Trade In lets you recycle any Apple device (including devices from Apple-owned brands) at any Apple Store and on Apple for free. That includes your batteries and old electronic products as well as free, on-demand packaging recycling for our commercial, education, and institutional customers. When we receive your device, it will be thoroughly inspected to determine if components can be recycled or reused. Whether recycled or reused, all activities relating to the processing of your device will be managed in an environmentally responsible way."

Yes I have tried to remove it myself but it would not work and I did submit all the documents that I was told to include with my activation request and yes where I bought it is a very popular well known reseller that has stores all across Canada it even says on the invoice that I sent them numerous times ( Certified pre owned apple-CPO-APPLE IPhone-11-GOOD then has the matching imei) they could very easily Contact the store I Purchased it from form the phone number on the invoice to verify that I did infact purchase the Device l also filled out all the required fields of the request with the proper information but yet I continue to get (we were unable to approve your request please make sure you include a invoice, bill of sale or receipt from the RESELLER with the proper device information) notice it says RESELLER not where the device was originally purchased who the **** would still have that when It was purchased new anyway it’s a iPhone 11 that’s several years ago. What they are asking me to do it what I have done many times already I do not under stand what is going on maybe they don’t like Canadians or they think they are being Funny or something but I. Certainly am not laughing. How do I report this to either Apple or a 3rd party to have this properly investigated so this person does not continue to refuse legit claims and possibly fire this or these people I paid $300 for this thing and I was not able to use it even a week after purchasing it because the reason I purchased this device is because some individual or individuals had gained access to all my email accounts and had somehow messed with all my devices including the phone I was using an android and my Microsoft laptop which is why I purchased the iPhone thinking it would be safer then an android device but they apparently were able to gain access to my find my iPhone and lock me out of it they even are able to fraud my bank account for several thousands of Dollars that my bank will not even replace even after verifying by the bank security cameras that It was intact not myself that took these funds from my savings account and chequeing account?? I have no clue why this continues to happen to me or why and have no clue why these companies are giving me a hard time when they should be helping me and reimbursing me for my loses I was even literally kicked out of an Apple Store here in Alberta After I brought my brand new iPhone 16 after I began to experience what could only be someone or something gaining access to my device in some way by continuing to change my settings sometime right in front of my eyes website redirects and what seemed to be that I had two iphone 16s with the same device identifiers but two totally different iCloud backups that I verified when I downloaded the separate data by adding a one in front of my Phone number when I logged into iCloud then used my email to log into what was a different iCloud almost similar but obviously a either fake iCloud or a real one that someone was able to have them linked by making them almost the same with what I could only explain as using my device info to mask there device to gain access to my phone and account this was even verified later by a agent that screen shared with my device and saw for themselves that my device was infact operating as if someone else was able to access and manipulate my device even after this was proven I was told that it is my responsibility because I apparently let this happen by clicking a fake link or accessing a fake website or they were able to access my device from a wifi network well I never even used wifi yet as I did not have wifi were I lived yet and had only used my data since I purchased the device how the **** would I know if a link I clicked was legit or not when it came from what looked like a legit apple email originating from my iCloud and if anytime a apple device is compromised apples policy is to do nothing and blame it on the owner all they can do is suggest you reset the device and create a different iCloud account after that which is what I did several times to no eval you would think that apple would like to know if a device is compromised so they can address it but this is not the case if you mention that something like this happens they will absultly deny it and continue to claim that they are unhackable and safe when they are in fact not at all. thank god I was able to return the device to my carrier who also accused me of lying to which I responded calm apple support or I will gladly open my iCloud on his device to show him two different data downloads from the “same” iCloud account and the “same” device and one having Chinese data and Chinese keyboards on one and I am 100% not Chinese or know how to write Chinese or read it lmfao
