Charge offs don’t appear on your credit reports after 7 years in almost every state. However, older charge offs may appear in public records much longer. Second tier credit reporting companies may be reporting an older charge off, if you ever have had one.

I would request a copy of your report directly from TransUnion.

Under federal law, you’re entitled to one free credit report from one of the three major nationwide credit reporting agencies, Equifax, Experian and TransUnion every 12 months.

You can request a report by calling 1-877-322-8228 or by visiting www.annualcreditreport.com. Review them for any problems. Look out for accounts you didn’t open or inquiries from creditors you didn’t authorize. Contact the agency to report any errors.

Apple has virtually nothing to do with the card except the co-marketing of their brand etc. Apple is not involved in the credit decisions. You’ll need to contact Goldman Sachs, probably in writing. You can try calling, but they probably can’t do anything to assist.
