Sync Music to iPhone without Backing Up
When syncing my music in iTunes (Windows) it forces me to attempt a back up which is VERY annoying, especially as I would just maybe want to quickly add one album on here - my intention IS NOT to back up the iPhone clearly.
When I click Sync it then asks me if I want to back up encrypted or not encrypted.. Well, I don't want to back up at all.. so I click the 'close' button 'x'. It then attempts to back up (very annoying as I said).
I type my PIN in on iPhone to Trust computer.
Then it says in iTunes at the top 'Backing up'.
I press Done and it remains on backing up. If I were to yank my cable out now it would stop that but the songs would not be transferred.
It seems if I press this button:
It then cancels the back up and starts syncing instead and then it finishes.
So if you follow these steps maybe that will help someone as I saw there were similar questions about this.
However, iTunes should really allow an option to just NOT back up. I already have the "Prevent iPhones from syncing automatically" option checked but that isn't the issue here.
Please can the iTunes team just add this button in as it is very annoying. Thanks
