Safari Version 26.0 (20622.1.22.118.2) close tab buttons no longer work

Since upgrading to Safari Version 26.0 (20622.1.22.118.2) my close tab buttons no longer work. I also cannot click in the address bar. Wondering if anyone else out there has been experiencing the same thing. Or should I delete Safari and reinstall?

Apple released Safari 26.0.1 late yesterday to fix this issue. Please update Safari in System Settings.
