I use Bean, a word processor, on macOS Big Sur and need to type the same term many times in my documents.
Is there a way I can create a keyboard macro to quickly type this word while using a non-apple app on my Mac? Thanks.

As long as Bean is compliant with most OS features, it should work.

Try this: Select the text you need to type a lot, then copy it. When you need to use the word in your document, paste it. You can paste from the keyboard with COMMAND-V
