iTunes 12.13.8.3 — Store login + “Show in iTunes Store” broken on Windows

Since updating to iTunes 12.13.8.3 on Windows, I’ve run into two consistent problems:


Right-clicking a track and choosing “Show in iTunes Store” just opens the Store, shows a white screen, then freezes.


Attempting to sign in with my Apple ID gives “Verification failed: There was an error connecting to the Apple Account server.”



I’ve already tried:


Confirming Apple’s system status (shows intermittent issues, but they don’t seem to line up perfectly).


Testing without a VPN.


Resetting the Store cache.


Reinstalling iTunes (and even rolling back to an earlier version).



Interestingly, the Windows Store version of iTunes does let me sign in and use the Store correctly, so this looks like a bug with the standalone installer build.


Is anyone else seeing the same behavior on 12.13.8.3 (standalone installer)?
