Since installing macOS 26 Beta, the mediaanalysisd process has been using too much CPU. Now that I’ve upgraded to the final release, the issue persists and my MacBook Pro is still overheating. I’m not sure what this process does, but the issue seems clearly related to macOS 26.
Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?

unplug all non-essential peripherals when testing
Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/VPN/Anti-Virus
all known to cause issues on the macOS
and compare your results after restarting...
