Family sharing settings are showing up in my child's device while i am the family organiser

So I had to remove my child to correct his location from the family as I was unable to purchase AppleCare+. Accomplished that after changing his age to adult > removing him from family group> changing location > and back into the family after updating the correct age. After adding him back I can see the screen time control in his device which wasn’t seen earlier. I can also see them in my device but they don’t work . All content and privacy restrictions also are seen on his device and don’t work on mine
