When I try to use the phone complication for any Apple Watch face on my Apple Watch Ultra the phone complication shows as blank. When I try to update on my watch, it shows the placeholder "Grid" of a missing image for the phone. This makes it unusable. Is there a way to get this back or replace the missing image?

This seems to be a common complaint, but when I experienced it I edited the Watch face (press and hold) then Edit, then scroll to the complication and add it again. Worked for me.
I tried that, and when I get to the phone complcation the image is missing and displays apple grid missing image graphic and it won't add
I’ve managed to recover phone complication this way on AWU2, but I can’t reach favorite contacts anymore. There is no option for that, or I just don’t know how?!
