What to do about these staingates or scratches ? How do I reduce it ?

That long scratch is only visible when it is exposed to a beam of bright light, like my smartphone's flashlight, and when it is turned towards the LED bulb of my room. It's subtly noticeable.

How do I get rid of it ? Suggest precautions and methods to reduce or get rid of it.

Not really clear as what's most evident is the reflection of what appear to be louvered doors. There's not much you can do about scratched glass on a display, except if it really bothers you then pay to have Apple replace it. They will replace the entire display panel at a cost of around $600, or if you have AppleCare+ coverage it's just a $99 deductible.

A workaround may be to use a privacy screen (e.g., I use a magnetic one from Kensington) as that will make a scratch on the glass less evident.

Are those marks even noticeable when actually using the laptop? I cannot imagine they would impact anything during normal use, although they may show up as some blemish under certain conditions depending on the color pattern beneath them.

If the only time you see those marks is when the laptop is sleeping or off, then just ignore them. Close the lid so you cannot see them.
