what macbook should I buy?

I’ve been using my old laptop for about 10 years now and I thought it’s finally time to buy a new one. I’ve been thinking about purchasing a Macbook, but I’m not sure which one to buy exactly. I will be mostly using it for studying, so it doesn’t have to be SUPER fancy. Just with a lot of space so I can make a lot of notes. I also want to play The Sims 3 on it, so I’d appreciate if it’s gonna be a Macbook where this game will work well. A friend of mine recommended me Apple MacBook Air 2025 13,6'' M4 16GB 512GB SSD macOS 10CPU, but I’m not 100% sure if it’s the right choice. What do you guys think?
