I tried connecting my iPhone as a mic on the Sing app on the Apple TV. I receive from the prompt to Accept from my iPhone. I see my I’m connected on the Apple TV. However, I receive an Audio Disconnected message on the upper right of the Apple TV. They are all on IOS 26. I have the AppleTV 4K with ethernet. I also switch the audio to TV as suggested isntead of HomePod

You need at least a 3rd generation Apple TV4K if you do have this model you can try restarting the iPhone and Apple TV

Apple TV is supported. I think I found what the issue is. My Apple TV is connected using Ethernet. But when I unplug the Ethernet and the Apple TV is now connected to the WiFi, it works fine. The issue only happens when the Apple TV is connected to Ethernet which I prefer. Anyone knows how to resolve that issue?
I have the exact same problem where when I press the microphone button on my iPhone, the Apple TV show has a message saying that the microphone has disconnected I do not use ethernet and all my devices are on the latest update. Is it something to do with a fact that we use a sound bar?
