CarPlay - iOS 26 - Contact Card Showing on Outgoing Calls

I used CarPlay for the first time today after the iOS 26 upgrade. When I received a call while navigating with Maps, the caller’s contact info appeared for a second at the bottom of the screen and then disappeared, thereby not obstructing the map and navigation. When I made a phone call, the contact info covered the map, as was the case prior to iOS 26. Do I need to change some setting so that the map and navigation info isn’t obstructed for outgoing calls as well? I find it hard to believe Apple would have made the improvement only for incoming calls and not also for outgoing calls, but who knows??
