Since updating to Tahoe 26.0 My music plays out of order

When I go to all music and then pick a band and hit play the order is all mixed up. It will start with first track sometimes jumping to a different track on a different album but within the same band: a band with 12 albums use to play from where I clicked and would continue all tracks below the first and then continue with the next album in order and continue until all the bands albums had played. the list include Apple Purchased Music and Music from older MP3's and CD rips. This seems to be the case on 2 of my computers, Mac Mini M4 Pro and M1 2020 Air. I also have a MacBook Pro but haven't touched it because it's a 2019 and have not updated it yet (If I even can)

Some thoughts on this. Not sure if all the factors are the same for you.

I'm having a similar issue. My library is playing songs out of order since updating to Tahoe. Now on 26.0.1. Music 1.6.0.151. I typically sort my music by the Album column. What I've learned regarding this issue is that when I have that column sorted as just "Album", the songs play in order. However, I usually have that column sorted as "Album by Artist/Year". That's when the order gets all scrambled. Pulling up the AutoPlay/AutoMix sidebar shows this to be the case. Sorted as "Album", I click on a song and the song order in the sidebar is correct. Sorted as "Album by Artist/Year", I click on a song and the song order scrambles. Every time. Neither AutoPlay nor AutoMix are highlighted. One other important thing I've learned is that this is only happening for Compilation albums. Single artist albums don't appear to be affected.

I would really love to hear Apple's comments on this. I'm also going to submit a bug report. Hope my findings help.
