Stretchy clock pull tab doesnt appear iOS26!

Trying to make the pull tab appear in customization for the stretchy clock to work. Followed the instructions. Chose the correct font, left-most font (default), and still the pull tab doesn't appear. I'm lost. Tried different font combos and still doesn't work. Using iPhone 14 pro max.

Bring up that opening screen.

deep press and hold on that screen

the opening screen shows in a window with (Customize) button

press the button and the time appears with a blob on the lower right corner. this blob is unlike any other previous Mac or iPhone control I have ever seen.

When completed, you MUST press (Done) in the upper right to make the changes stick.

Ive done that and more. Doesnt work. Pull tab never appears despite using arabic western font, using left most font (default) in customization in lock screen as per instructions. Created new wall paper to test; same issue.. yet google search indicates iPhone 14 pro max has the stretchy feature. Must be a bug in s/w for certain models. Some mention it only works on certain wallpapers, not all...
