Eliminate photos on incoming email

I am using iOS 18.7 on an iPhone 15 and have Outlook for email. I have gone to the Mail app and have made sure that the "Show Contact Photos" is not turned on, but I'm still seeing photos or initials on incoming emails. Is there anything else I can try to get rid of them?
