Failed to Verify Your Identify

I am trying to sign into iCloud on my PC with Windows 11. Have never had trouble in the past, but now when I enter my password I get the messsage: Failed to Verify Your Identity. I do get a code on my iPhone 15, but Windows will not allow me to enter it. I changed my password, rebooted, etc. No luck. However, the process worked when I signed into this Windows Community. Used my new password and was allowed to enter the code. How do I get into iCloud on my PC?
