Apple Watch SE 1st Generation Trade In

I setup a trade in a few weeks ago for my Apple Watch SE and I missed the 14 day period. Trade in value at the time was $50 but now because of the new watch release it dropped to $35. What are the chances of me getting my original trade in value from a couple weeks ago. I planned to go into the store to trade in for a gift card. Now wondering if it’s even worth it :(
