Cannot type in Safari address bar or close tabs
Macbook updated to Sequoia 15.7 overnight. Now, I am unable to type in the Safari address bar or close any tabs.

Same here, definitely a bug so hopefully it will get fixed soon.
For now use shortcuts Command + W to close the current tab and Command + L to select the address bar.
