Subscribed Podcasts on windows laptop

As there are a multitude of podcasts on ITunes I cherry pick those I have interest in, I frequently listen to these on my I Phone which I sync regularly with windows laptop. Two irritating issues occur, I get messages saying - on my laptop - podcast stopped syncing as you are not listening / playing this podcast, absolute rubbish!, and Even after signing in, and out on numerous occasions, it refuses to let me subscribe, and on the rare occasion it does it refuses to let me download complete series in one go, I have to click every individual episode, I have read downloading one episode then right clicking on podcast logo solves this, not for me it does not. I enjoy ITunes podcasts, but this is driving me to distraction, any solution would be appreciated.
