after update to mac os26 siri sounds different

so after updated to Mac OS 26 Siri again just like every other major update reverts to Samanthas voice for announcements and system announcements etc.. I go in and change it just like I have done every other time and its still not working.. Siri herself is working but reading text back and making system announcements like notifications still sound like Samantha even though I downloaded the Siri American voice 4 and rebooted and re checked my settings.. can someone help because this is super super super annoying. every major update since they have implemented the new Siri voices this has happened and sometimes I can get it to go back to working and this time I just can't seem to get it to work. this is tagged for sequoia but that's only because it won't let me change it to os 26

ok silly me I searched inside the settings app for announcements and there was one more setting that popped up. all is well again. I couldn't find the setting without searching for it so maybe im missing something or maybe they hid it lol..anyway its under accessibility but I couldn't find it. for anyone else having this issue you can go to settings and in the search box at the top of the app type in announcements and then you can select whatever voice you want to have make announcements like the time and notifications as well as incoming calls.
