iOS 26 Cellular doesn't work after update

Hello,

I updated my iPhone 14 Pro to iOS 26 today, and I've noticed that cellular service is not working at all.

When the phone booted after the update, it didn't ask for the SIM PIN code.

I also went to Settings > Mobile Service > SIM PIN and tried to disable the PIN, but when I tried to tap on Change PIN, nothing happens.

Additionaly, my phone number no longer appears in the mobile service section.

Also, when I open SIM Applications, I can see my carriers services listed, but when I tap on them, nothing happens.

I have already tried:

- Restarting the device

- Reinserting the SIM card

- Checking for carrier settings updates

Is anyone else experiencing this? Any solutions?

If you have it on and you don't fit into that category, you should definitely turn it off.

Apple just pushed out an update to iOS 26 which addresses the issue of eSIM card fail caused by iOS 26. I updated to 26.0.1, restarted my phone and now I have cell signal again. Don't know how long it will last and I put at least 20 man-hours into fixing it. 3 trips to T-Mobile, 3 trips to Apple store and long conversations w/ T-Mobile tech support who said they were aware of the issue and reported it to Apple. So Apple addressed the issue with the 26.0.1 update. Fingers crossed!!

iPhone 14 Pro Max UK user here. I thought I had tried everything such as resetting network settings, restoring my phone, Airplane Mode, checking APN settings and everything short of praying to a higher power. My phone doesn’t have dual SIM. What worked was taking the SIM card out, restarting my phone, switching the Wi-Fi off when it came back on then reinserting the SIM. My network is GiffGaff which uses O2. Hope this helps others out, what a ridiculous problem to have following a major update!

iPhone 14 Pro Max user here, my cellular network wasn't working for an entire week after the update. I've tried resetting, turning on Airplane Mode, flipping my sim-card to the bottom of the tray, backing up and restoring to the previous IOS 18.7 version, but nothing worked. But, I found a method that solves the issue for me. All I did was:-

-Go to "Settings" and go to "Mobile Service" or "Cellular"

-Turn Roaming On and Off (or back on again)

-Then go to "Voice and Data" and select "4G only"

And my issue was solved. Turns out IOS 26 has issues connecting the iPhone 14 series to 5G networks, so it's better to stick to 4G for now until they resolve this issue in the upcoming IOS 26.1 update. Hopefully, this helps you guys. If it doesn't, just wait until the next patch.

I encountered the same issue did tried all possible solution to restore my data connection.

Toggling Data Connection, airplane mode, resetting Network Connection, Hard Reboot my phone, Checked APN, factory reset (Which I regret doing), even contacted apple support spent 3hrs for 3 daya just to get it fixed, Rep ran several diagnostic test, but nothing happen. Was told I will be contacted in 3 days but got no response. Since I was tired waiting without my data connection. I did the last option, which is downgrading it back to iOS 18, and it fixed the issue. And just to give it a second chance, I tried upgrading it again to iOS 26 thinking it might be an issue during update. And to my surprise it went back to the same issue, so I downgraded again to iOS18 hahah. Will just wait on the next patch instead.

After updating my iPhone 14 to iOS 26, it started showing SIM Failure. Apple support and service diagnostic tools indicate hard ware failure and I need to replace mother board. I don't think it is a coincident. And Apple support says it could be a pre existing problem and got revealed in iOS 26. Now there is no way to go back to older version and prove that it works in iOS 18. Hoping that Apple provides a patch soon to address this issue.

Having the same issue. I brought my phone to a local phone repair shop and they reverted it back to ios18 and the cellular works fine again now. Definitely something up with iphone14s and the latest update. It happened when I did the beta update a couple weeks back and the. Happened again today when i did the public ios26 update. Back to the phone shop I go again.
