Stolen Device Protection flagged my home as unfamiliar location?

I was trying to do a clean install of iOS 26 on my phone via my computer. The system told me I had to turn off Find My, and to do that I needed to disable ‘Stolen Device Protection.’ When I tried to turn it off, even though I was at home, the security system flagged me as being in an unfamiliar location and put me in a 1-hour waiting mode. Is this normal? Does this happen to everyone? It seems the security system hasn’t recognized my home as a trusted location. I think there might be an issue.
