I'm receiving a 'Onedrive is damaged' warning

If I press cancel, it pops back up every few seconds, and if I press move to bin, it also returns.I have tried just moving the One Drive app to the bin (I only use One Drive at a job using their email, so don't use it at home (though I take this laptop in, so maybe I need it on there???)

Can i repair it?

Can I delete it?

The message is getting troublesome as it keeps me from doing anything else and demands a response.

I never tried it myself, but this seem to be steps you can try:

Step 1: Restart OneDrive

1. Find the OneDrive icon (a cloud) on the right side of the menu bar.

2. Select the icon and choose Quit OneDrive.

3. Reopen the OneDrive app via Spotlight.

Step 2: Restart your Mac and update macOS

1. Restart your Mac and see if the error disappears.

2. Make sure you have the latest version of macOS installed, as the error could also indicate a problem with a system component that needs to be updated.

Step 3: Reset OneDrive

If the problem persists after restarting the app and your Mac, you can reset OneDrive using the following steps:

1. Open the Finder and go to the Applications folder.

2. Find the OneDrive app.

3. Hold down the Control key and click OneDrive, then select Show Package Contents.

4. Navigate to the Contents folder > Resources.

5. Double-click the ResetOneDriveApp.command file (or ResetOneDriveAppStandalone.command if you're using the standalone app) to reset it.
