I'm experiencing an issue with my Mac where a small QZ indicator popup appears randomly and irregularly on my screen. This behavior occurs both when I'm online and offline, suggesting it's not network-related, No apparent trigger - happens during normal computer usage.

I'm certain this is a keyboard input source indicator, not the QZ Tray application.
The "QZ" being displayed is an abbreviation for "QWERTZ" keyboard layout. If I were to change my input source from ABC-QWERTZ (which shows as "QZ") to German (DE), then "DE" would be displayed instead of "QZ."
What input sources do you have on the list at system settings / keyboard / text input / edit / all input sources ?
Might this be the cause?

It seems odd to have that if you have only one input source on the list. See if this helps
