I have an iMac, iPhone, and iPad they all work together with iCloud. Over the past 20 years I have downloaded music from CDs on my iMac. and I can listen to my music in my office on my iMac but not in my den on the iPad or in my car using my iPhone. How can I listen to my music on all 3 devices?

You can sync your music from your Mac onto your iPhone and/or iPad. Then you can listen to whatever you have synced.
If you subscribe to iTunes Match or to Apple Music streaming, your library will automatically sync amongst your devices.
