How do I fix GarageBand static after update with audio interface?

after the recent update I noticed that my GarageBand wasn't reading any output

before the update I was already using an audio interface perfectly fine via adapter and DI box connected to get a pickup on my guitar

after the update I was still getting signal from my guitar from my interface but a static cackling clapping sound from my output out from garagband

cables, interface, and adapters thinking that would have been the problem, with brand new replacements, still got the same result, I don't know what to do, and I'm just trying to make music via the equipment I was already using before, I don't know how after an update all the equipment I was already using PERFECTLY fine isn't coming through the output
