Apple CarPlay, Apple TV remote, and text messages not working after upgrading to 18.6.2

Since I upgraded 16.5.1 my Apple CarPlay, Apple TV remote, text messages and other things have stopped working. I upgraded to 18.6.2 but that didn’t fix anything.

Based on other comments - I wonder if I can’t see updates now.

Is there any place to cal or check? Maybe the Apple Store?
