Phone doesn’t ring! It doesn’t list as missed call. I’ve missed very urgent calls. Please. Will Apple exchange my 16 Pro max for an older, working model? AT&T can’t fix it. Please help!

If you have already discussed this with ATT without any resolution, you should get an appointment at an Apple Store for an evaluation of your phone.
If you purchased your iPhone in a brand new, factory sealed box within the last fourteen days directly from Apple or an Authorized Apple Retailer, exchange it.
Otherwise:

Whether Apple will repair or replace is something you’ll have to discuss with Apple, and what they might find wrong.
