How can I Export just a segment of my Timeline? I want to keep the Project as a whole, but I want to “break” into let’s say three (3) distinct movies. I tried selecting just the pieces I wanted to Export but I kept getting the entire Project. I looked in the manual under the Sharing section but I did not see anything. Thanks.

Or hit "R" for the Range tool, then click and drag on any layer. The Primary Timeline is usually the easiest to work with. Anything, even what is not highlighted, inside the range gets exported.

Use the "I" and "O" keys to set an in and out point on the main story line clips for the section of the time line you want to export. Once they are set, your export will only include the video between those two points.
