Apple’s Family Sharing Feature - Security concern?

Hi, may I ask if there is any security issue if someone send you an invitation through apple’s family sharing feature? It is claimed to be a one-way sharing arrangement, so that I could used the shared gift card as payment method. Will there be risk where the owner able to access my personal information or use my personal information?
