iMac turning on by itself from sleep mode

Hi. After i put my My iMac to sleep, it keeps waking up with notification that blu tooth mouse or keyboard not discoverable. (they are left on) I have tried turning them off, still wakes up.

any suggestions?

It should not be necessary to turn off BT devices. However, I suggest that you investigate Bluetooth Preferences to make sure a previously paired device is not causing those wake events: Use Bluetooth devices with Mac - Apple Support. If you find one in that list that should not be present, remove it.


Otherwise, an SMC Reset is justified for unexpected sleep / wake events: Reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support.
