Yeah, 96GB of RAM quite a bit of RAM and should be fine. If budget allows, 256GB would be better, but honestly $1600 dollars for the upgrade is just impossibly expensive and not really necessary at the end of the day assuming you're editing in 4K.
If you are going to be editing in 8K, then 96GB RAM may not be enough.
