Unable to purchase AppleCare for my new MacBook Pro, it says “Invalid Billing Address”

So I recently got a new MacBook, and I have never had any issues with purchasing AppleCare before.

This morning I tried purchasing it on my phone. I get an error that says “Invalid Billing Address” which makes no sense, I’ve never changed my address and I’ve lived at this address for over 20 years.

if I try to change it to my sisters address it doesn’t give me the error.

Despite the fact you haven't changed anything, review If you need to change or update your Apple Account payment method - Apple Support.

Whatever payment method you select has to match your credit card (debit card etc) billing address information exactly. Some banks may arbitrarily change trivial details such as "Rd" being substituted for "Road" and then Apple will reject it.

That's definitely odd, and would lead me to suspect your sister may have been using your Apple Account information, or vice versa. Needless to say you would need to work that out among yourselves.
