Apple Watch Series 10 not tracking sleep stages during naps

Why doesnt my apple watch series 10 track sleep stages during naps? i know that i dream during long naps. Also, last night it displayed the first three hours of sleep last night as a nap; i wasn’t sleeping well but i did dream.
